On this date on March 7, 1905, Ethiopia and Germany entered a Treaty of Friendship.Karl Heinz Hansen-Bahia was a renown German artist(1915-1976) and teacher who briefly between 1963-66 worked as an art teacher at the Art Academy in AddisAbaba in Ethiopia.Many Ethiopian artists have drawn inspiration from German art and its institutions, including the late Gebre Kristos Desta, Julie Mehretu, and Girmachew Getnet.
